Midas' ATM Dreams borrows from 3 different narratives across the traditions of mythology, poetry and hip hop to craft a modern cautionary tale about the love of money. It pays homage to the history of its narrative influences, and pushes them forward using timely visuals and subject matter. The narrative follows Midas who is suddenly and randomly granted the ability to turn whatever he touches to gold; this very immediately escalates as he soon finds that wealth corrupts hearts and minds.
